My intentions are not to make anybody worry, I'm calm as a Hindu cow. All I can really say is WOW! The wind is incredible, a big tree blew over and just touched the stern of a big cat about three boats down, The Fijian Marina staff came running with their machetes and cleared most of it off the boat. At times I cannot see across the marina due to the rain. Mostly I have got the wind on the stern which is good, the boats getting it on the beam look like they are sailing close hauled. Anybody who didn't remove their roller furling headsails is regretting it right about now. My biggest problem has been bumping into the boats next to me, the fenders get blown onto deck or wiggle their way out. Both boats on either side of me are unattended and have pretty pathetic fenders, one of them popped. The boats are tied away from the sea wall so everybody is basically stuck on their boat unless they swim to shore, On the upside it is actually cool today, oh and I found out a few days ago I got my Working Holiday Visa from New Zealand.
